The CH0004 is a self-contained Battery Charger/conditioner
mounted in a ruggedized environmentally resistant case, which provides a
reliable and consistent recharge of one or two batteries simultaneously. The
CH0004 auto senses battery type to assure proper charge profile.
Unattended Charging
• Smart charge modules that detect open or shorted
cells. If a defective cell is detected the CH0004 will not start charge cycle
• No programming or special instruction set
to achieve safe and complete recharge of battery
• In no event will a battery be overcharged
using the smart charging
techniques of the CH0004
Wide Range
Input Voltage
• Allows operation from nearly any AC or DC
power source likely to be encountered worldwide
Conditioning
Cycle
• Automatic discharge/recharge function
included. The conditioning cycle can be activated individually per battery at
operator`s option
Recharge
Each String of Cells
• To assure a positive recharge of the
battery each individual string of cells in the battery is recharged
independently
Any combination
of the following batteries: BB-390/U - (NiMH), BB-590/U - (NiCd), BB-2590 /
UBI-2590 (UBBL02) / MRC-2590 /UBBL09 / UBI-2590 SMBus (UBBL10) -Lithium-Ion

New Cree XLamp® XP-G2 LED achieves 20% higher light efficiency in the same XP package size
Clarion (Nasdaq: CREE ), a market leader in LED lighting, today announced the release of the XLamp® XP-G2 LED. Compared to the previous generation of XP-G LEDs, lighting manufacturers are provided with 20% higher luminous efficiency and 2.5 times higher cost performance (lm/$). The brighter, more efficient XP-G2 LED delivers immediate performance gains. At the same time, XP-G2 LEDs help lighting manufacturers achieve the same brightness at lower cost and use fewer LEDs, and can help increase brightness levels with the same number of LED devices and the same power.
The new XP-G2 LEDs test bins at 85 °C and provide relevant characteristic parameters. At the same time, the XP-G2 LED is packaged in the same package size as the previous generation XP-G LED (3.45mm x 3.45mm) and is optically compatible, providing fast and efficient performance improvements to shorten the LED luminaire design cycle and speed time-to-market for customers. . XP-G2 LEDs are widely used in high lumen applications ranging from indoor and outdoor lighting to portable lighting and replacement lighting.
William Weiss, Partner and Technical Director of MSi Solid State Lighting, said: "Many of our lighting applications are designed with Cree XLamp XP-G LEDs. The new XP-G2 LEDs help us take advantage of Cree's most advanced technology while There is no need to make any major design changes to speed up the time to market for our products."
Based on the revolutionary SC3 technology platform, the XP-G2 LED combines high light output, high reliability and high light efficiency. At cool white (6000K), 350 mA and 85 °C, the luminous efficiency is up to 151 lm/W. At cool white light (6000K), 350 mA and 25 °C, the luminous efficiency is up to 165 lm/W. Light efficiency up to 133 lm/W in warm white (3000K), 350 mA and 85 °C. Light efficiency up to 145 lm/W in warm white (3000K), 350 mA and 25 °C. The SC3 technology platform uses Cree's industry-leading silicon carbide (SiC) technology to demonstrate superior performance in LED chip structure and fluorescence conversion, and to match the latest packaging technology to provide the industry's most advanced LED devices.
ENERGY STAR®-certified luminaire manufacturers are expected to receive parameters and performance data, including LM-80 reports, to speed time-to-market. The XP-G2 LED is a follow-on upgrade to the XP-G LED and provides LM-80 data. Based on LM-80 data, it only takes 3,000 hours instead of the usual 6,000 hours to help speed up the luminaire certification process. The XP-G2 LED has also been UL listed and rated as Level 4.
