National standard tubular fluorescent lamp holder and starter seat

This standard refers to the use of the international standard IEC 400 (1987) "tubular fluorescent lamp holder and starter seat".

1 Subject content and scope of application

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules for tubular fluorescent lamp holders and starter seats (hereinafter referred to as lamp holders and bases, respectively). It is used to ensure the safety and interchangeability of the fluorescent lamp and the starter in the seat.

This standard is applicable to the lamp holder and the seat with protection class IP20 (the seat above the protection class should refer to the relevant test of GB7001), and it is used in places without dripping, dust-free and non-corrosive gas.

This standard applies to the lamp holder and the seat included in GB 13260. Other types of seats should also be used as reference.

3 terms

3.1 Elastic lamp holder: A pair of lamp holders fixedly mounted in the lighting device. The contact position of one or two lamp holders can be moved axially to compensate for the change of the length of the lamp tube and facilitate the loading and unloading of the lamp.

3.2 Inelastic lamp holders (also known as rigid lamp holders): A pair of mounting positions are fixed and do not rely on the movement of the contacts to compensate for changes in the length of the lamp or to mount the lamp holder.

3.3 Built-in lamp holder or stand: A seat specially designed for mounting inside the lamp.

3.4 Unprotected lamp holder or stand: Use additional means to provide a seat for protection against electric shock.

3.5 Stand-alone lamp holder or stand: A lamp holder or a stand that can be separated from the lighting device and can meet the necessary protection against electric shock.
