The TD3100 elevator special inverter is used to transform the elevator in the office building. The elevator has 5 floors and 5 stations, the maximum speed is 1.75m/s, the rated load is 1000Kg, the external controller uses plc, and the control mode is multi-stage speed control. The entire transformation process is divided into two phases, which are described in detail below.

First, the transformation of multi-stage speed control

The first time of the transformation was tight. To ensure a success, we proposed to replace the Yaskawa 616G5 with the Emerson TD3100 without changing the hardware. The control mode is maintained for multi-speed control.

2. On-site commissioning

The self-learning operation is performed first, and after the bottom layer runs to the highest level, the height of each layer is stored in the inverter. After the self-learning is completed, let the elevator run automatically. We adjusted the leveling accuracy according to function code F4.07 (flat layer adjustment) and reached a higher requirement. Upgrading to distance control has greatly improved the operating efficiency, and also solved some unreasonable places in the previous control program. For example, the distance pulse detected in the controller is prone to error and will accumulate, and only the end station can clear the error. The error of the speed change point is large, which affects the leveling accuracy. The use of distance control also simplifies the programming of the controller. After the transformation, the elevator runs stably.
