According to the urbanization standard and relying on the advanced technology and advantages of the 13th Shijiazhuang Information Industry Base, the city replaced all the original 620ç›250W high-pressure sodium street lamps of Beidou Road with 168W LED street lamps, which are more energy-efficient than ordinary high-pressure sodium lamps. More than 60%, the service life is 10 times longer.
The project has a total length of 1.65 kilometers. It starts from Shibai Street in the west and reaches the entrance of the Botanical Garden in the east. It has a cable line of 1,090 meters, a lamp holder, 310 light poles, and 620 sets of lamps. It has been installed and commissioned. At the same time, Shideng North Road Energy-saving Lighting Project has also entered the construction stage. It has completed trenching and burying cable lines of 1,180 meters and pouring 215 lamp holders. It is preparing to install light poles. It is expected to complete the task by the end of September.
In order to promote green lighting projects more effectively, the city has installed 14 streetlight power-saving devices in the city, and timely adjusted the street lights to open and close, with an average power saving of about 10%.
