The TPS92075 controller and TPS92560 driver improve compatibility with traditional lighting control devices while reducing component count and solution size.
The TPS92075 is designed for phase dimmable offline AC/DC LED and downlight applications. Available in a small 6-pin TSOT package, the device provides smooth, flicker-free dimming with over 0.9 power factor correction when used with conventional wall dimmers. The TPS92560 is designed for low voltage AC or low voltage DC LED lamps such as MR16 and AR111. It uses a patented input current control method to improve compatibility with electronic transformers.
The TPS92075 and TPS92560 are part of TI's family of LED drivers for retrofit bulbs, including the LM3445, LM3447, TPS92310/11/14, LM3444 and LM3401.
